  Children & Adolescents

At Physio Gatidou, we focus on the assessment and rehabilitation of motor disorders in children from the neonatal period through adolescence. Pediatric physiotherapy promotes motor functions and skills, supports motor development, strengthens the musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems, and prepares the child to integrate into the social environment. It addresses motor deficits or dysfunctions that hinder the child’s normal daily activities.

Our physiotherapist evaluates deviations or deficits in the quality of functional motor activity. They identify any issues in gross and fine motor skills, based on knowledge of normal development, and prepare and integrate motor features that are missing or appear abnormally. The chosen therapeutic program is fully individualized, aiming to improve the child’s movement, promote independence, and achieve the maximum potential of each child.
Early intervention is highly important, with active family involvement in the therapeutic program, to achieve the best possible outcomes.
