  Christina Gatidou


Ms. Christina Gatidou was born in Thessaloniki in 1991. She graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy at the International Hellenic University with "Excellent" honors. She completed her postgraduate studies, with a Merit Scholarship, in the field of “Exercise and Health” at the postgraduate program of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She has successfully attended continuing education programs in Physiotherapy, such as:
- Mulligan Concept (Manual Therapy), mobilization with movement techniques
- Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions & Physiotherapeutic Rehabilitation, Lifelong Learning Program of the University of Patras
- Prevention – Intervention – Rehabilitation of Sports Injuries, postgraduate seminar
- Applied Biomechanics of the Lower Limb and Orthotic Insoles Design
- Dynamic Taping Course, application of biomechanical taping techniques

She is certified in “First Aid in Sports” by the European College of Sports & Exercise Physicians (E.C.O.S.E.P.).

She was invited to provide her services to the national volleyball teams of U17 & U19, participating in European Championships in 2022. She has collaborated with several sports clubs in the city across different sports and worked as head physiotherapist at the athletic club “Makedonikos” in Thessaloniki.

Scientific Work

She supported the research titled "The pre-season hamstrings flexibility testing, as a factor of primary prevention of their injuries in female professional soccer athletes" at the World Physiotherapy Congress 2025, held in Tokyo, Japan.

She authored an article in the magazine “EKTOΣ TΩΝ TEIΧΩΝ” titled “Manage Your Lower Back Pain”.

She presented the research “A comparison of hamstrings flexibility between dominant and non-dominant leg in elite women soccer players” at the 36th World Congress of Sports Medicine (FIMS).

Her research “The effect of traditional Greek dances on the functional ability of elderly women as a factor in fall prevention” was presented at the 38th Annual Orthopedic & Traumatology Society of Macedonia-Thrace Conference (OTEMATH).

She has published in reputable international journals the study “Physiotherapy management of Bell’s palsy – A review of evidence-based physiotherapy practice”.

  Anna Maria Gatidou


Ms. Anna Maria Gatidou was born in Thessaloniki in 2000. She graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy at the International Hellenic University in 2023.

She successfully completed the seminar series titled “Respiratory Physiotherapy Interventions” from the Department of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy – Rehabilitation of the Hellenic Physiotherapists Association.

She successfully attended the training program “First Aid in Sports Venues” organized by the Center for Lifelong Learning of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She works as the lead physiotherapist at the athletic club “Makedonikos”, Thessaloniki.
