The research titled "The pre-season hamstrings flexibility testing, as a factor of primary prevention of their injuries in female professional soccer athletes" that we presented at the World Physiotherapy Congress 2025 in Tokyo, Japan, from May 29 to 31, 2025, received particularly flattering comments. At the conference, the research was supported by Ms. Christina Gatidou, who emphasized the importance of sports injury prevention, particularly hamstring injuries in female soccer players. The study indicates that physiotherapists working with soccer teams should incorporate specific tests during the athletes’ pre-season preparation to predict injury risk early. This allows the integration of individualized exercise programs into training sessions to help prevent injuries. |
